Female Pelvic Ultrasound procedure is for indicating the status of endometrium, ovaries and uterus. Further, the test also supports identification and presence of pelvic collection, ovarian cysts, hydrosalpinx and other medical abnormalities that may be affecting child bearing issues of women.

- Images also help in providing information of any lumps/swellings present for further investigation if needed
For undertaking this Pelvic Ultrasound Scan, patients require to have full bladder so as to ensure proper images are taken. For this, drinking of around 1 liter water is required between 90 minutes to an hour before appointment and requires holding the same until appointment time.
